The clinic is operated by board-certified Michael G. Richie, M.D., Jessica Kelm, R.N., Licensed Esthetician and Clinical Esthetician Heather Breck. Their combined experience and state-of-the-art procedures allow them to personalize your skin care in a medical, yet spa-like environment.

Michael G. Richie, M.D.

As founder of Richie Eye Clinic and developer of Crossroads Skin Care, Dr. Richie has earned a reputation as a cutting-edge surgeon and patient care provider with a continual eye on the latest technology, treatments and services available. Dr. Richie oversees all the medical skin rejuvenation procedures at Crossroads Skin Care.

A graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN, Dr. Richie received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. After an Internship at Hennepin County Medical Center, he completed his ophthalmology training at the Eye Institute, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Dr. Richie is on the medical staff at Rice County’s District One Hospital, the Northfield Hospital and the Owatonna Hospital.

Born in Hudson, Wisconsin, and a long-time resident of Faribault, Dr. Richie is the proud father of 3 teenagers. Dr. Richie and his wife Mary spend most of their spare time in the bleachers, either watching or coaching the current high school sport of the season. Reading, golf, exercise and snow skiing provide relaxation.

Heather Breck,
Clinical Esthetician

Heather Breck grew up in Waseca, Minnesota and is a graduate of St. Paul Technical College, St. Paul, MN and the Aveda Institute, Minneapolis.

Heather has broad experience in a wide variety of skin care services and advanced procedures, including IPL hair removal and the treatment of adult and teenage acne with incredible success. Combined with her extensive knowledge of proper skin care and use of products, Heather excels at creating custom skin care regimens for her client’s personal needs.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She currently resides in Waseca, MN with her husband Brian and four children – Matthew, Olivia, Elijah and Nolan.

Jessica Pearson, R.N.,Licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist

Jessica Pearson graduated from Faribault High School and then attended The Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she studied esthiology, cosmetology and massage therapy. Eager to expand her learning on a medical level, Jessica then attended Riverland Community College where she earned her Registered Nursing degree.

As a licensed nurse and also trained esthetician, Jessica brings to Crossroads Skin Care the skill of both specialties. Her broad knowledge allows her to provide her clients skin perfecting treatments as well as the medical skin rejuvenation services of BOTOX, Juvederm and Restalyne.

Her nursing expertise also is put to use at Crossroads Surgery Center and Owatonna Hospital.

The field of skin care truly excites Jessica. At Crossroads Skin Care she looks forward to helping clients look and feel their best while delivering realistic, honest results.

In her spare time Jessica enjoys fishing, kayaking, Twins Baseball and traveling. Her “world traveling” even includes two weeks spent in Ecuador as part of a cultural nursing experience.
