Post-Procedure Instructions
- Expect the pigmented areas and small blood vessels to initially get darker and rise to the skin’s surface. They may look like “pepper” and feel raised, but will markedly diminish.
- Be careful to avoid contact with hot water. Do not bathe the area with very hot water for three weeks.
- Keep the treated area moist, with your own, or our recommended skin care products and stay hydrated.
- Avoid exposing the area to excessive sun during treatment. If sun is unavoidable, cover it with sun blocker (which we can provide) for at least 4 weeks following treatment and wear a hat with a brim.
- Keep clothing and any other irritants from rubbing the treated area.
- You may use your make-up as you are accustomed.
- Notify the clinic should you have prolonged redness, excessive puffiness, or any other unusual side effects.
